Terms of Use

Last updated: October 30, 2026. By using SysOSX you accept these terms. They are deliberately short: the tools are free, the results are snapshots, and you are responsible for what you point them at.

The service

SysOSX provides free online tools, data pages and articles for people who operate websites, servers and networks. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn at any time, and we may impose rate limits to keep the service usable for everyone.

Results are snapshots, provided as-is

Every check on this site observes its target at one moment, from one vantage point, and reports what it found then. Results are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. A clean result is not a guarantee that a system is secure, compliant or correctly configured, and a poor result is a starting point for investigation, not a verdict. Verify important findings with your own tooling before acting on them.

LLM prices are collected from providers' official pages and each row shows the date it was last verified, but providers change pricing without notice. Confirm the current price on the provider's own page before making purchasing decisions.

Acceptable use

You may only run checks — in particular port scans and health checks — against domains, servers and systems that you own or are explicitly authorised to test. You agree not to use this site to probe third-party systems without authorisation, to attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls, to overload the service, or for any unlawful purpose. We may block traffic that violates these terms.

Content and intellectual property

The articles, tool designs and data compilations on this site belong to SysOSX or its licensors. You may link to any page, and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link back. Automated bulk copying of the pricing data or article archive is not permitted. Third-party data shown in results (for example registry RDAP records, Certificate Transparency logs and blacklist data) belongs to its respective operators.

Not professional advice

Articles and tool output are educational and informational. They are not a substitute for professional advice about your specific systems, security posture or legal obligations.

Third-party services

This site links to other services, including myeventwatch (a separate monitoring service run by the same operator) and model providers' official pages. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern your use of them.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SysOSX is not liable for losses arising from reliance on tool results, pricing data or article content, or from the unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with its revision date. Questions about these terms can be sent via the contact page.
